Rupert and the Compass story commenced in the Daily Express on Tuesday 5th March. It originally appeared in the Express in November & December 1953, so is a strange choice with spring now advancing fast.
The story was reprinted in the paper in the spring of 2008 and in the 1964 Rupert Annual from where this story is now sourced. An exploration in Nutwood looms as Edward is inspired by his new rucksack.
The Rupert and Young Kevin story concluded on Monday 4th March after 50 episodes. After many mini-adventures chasing the mischievous Kevin all ends well when both he and Rupert safely return to Nutwood.
