Rupert and the Ice-Flowers, an Alfred Bestall story originally appearing in black and white in the Daily Express in 1951, commenced here in colour on the 23rdOctober, and is probably a reprint of the colour version that appeared in the paper in 2004. The story also appeared in the Rupert Annual for 1958.
It is a seasonal mid-winter story that commences with Rupert being asked to do some shopping by his Mummy.
Rupert and Septimus concluded on Monday 22nd October with Rupert safely returning home with a gold pin as a gift. You will need to read the story to find out how he obtained it.
