Rupert and the Lucky Man started in the Daily Express on Wednesday 8th May. It is a reprint of a story specially written and illustrated by Alfred Bestall for the 1951 Rupert Annual (BO22). This is the first time it has been reprinted.
An adventure with Rastus Mouse seems to beckon.
Rupert and the April Fool concluded on Tuesday 7th May after 30 episodes. It featured Rastus’s town cousin Willie, so it is nice to see Rupert currently enjoying the company of his less traditional chums.
