Rupert in the Express 2 May 2018

Rupert and the Little Men story appeared in the Express on Wednesday 2nd May 2018.  It is an early Alfred Bestall story that originally appeared in the paper in late 1936 and was then subsequently reprinted in the 1937 Rupert Annual. Although the Followers reprinted it in full colour in Newsletter 92, this is the first time it has appeared in colour in the Express.

Rupert and the Floods concluded after 28 episodes and strongly reflected the weather we in other parts of Great Britain were also experiencing at the time.

A safe return for the chums as always from a rather exciting adventure, this time being greeted by Mr Bear who had been sufficiently concerned to involve PC Growler as well as other fathers in the search.
