Rupert and Dr Lion concluded satisfactorily on 1st February after 26 episodes with Rupert delivering The Wise Old Goat’s bottled sunshine to Dr Lion to aid Mrs Bear’s recovery.
This iconic story is certainly an inspiration to us all as it reminds us that there will soon be longer days and hopefully plenty of natural sunshine.
Rupert and the Flying Boat started on Friday 2nd February and it is interesting to see that the deciduous trees in Nutwood are already in full leaf. 
Perhaps spring comes earlier in the year here and the climate must be different.
