Rupert and the Rugby Match commenced on Wednesday 5th April 2023.
It is a Bestall story that originally appeared in the daily paper in 1961. It also had further subsequent outings both in the paper and magazines, plus the story featured in the 1972 and 2013 Rupert Annuals.
It is nice to see that Rupert’s jumper has finally been put through the wash and is now the bright red it is supposed to be.
Rupert and the Bad Dog concluded the day before after 42 episodes, with Rupert telling of their successful finding of Rosalie to others who had been searching for her.
