Bestall reprints
In 1991 the Followers published the first of a series of reprints of Alfred Bestall stories that had not appeared anywhere other than the Daily Express. They were laid out as they would have been had they appeared in an annual, but in black and white, as in the newspaper. Later Nutwood Specials produced stories in full colour for the first time.

Information about the stories | Rupert and Dinkie appeared in the Daily Express from May to July 1955. The story tells how Guide Beryl’s cat vanished and was found again – all with the help of the Conjuror’s magic. Rupert and the Coronation appeared in 1937 and is about Rupert’s adventure when he went to London for the Coronation of George VI. |
