Starting in the Daily Express, 1st July 2026, is the first ever full colour newspaper reprint of Rupert and the Raft. This lovely Summer Story was written by Ian Robinson, beautifully illustrated by John Harrold and coloured for the 1998 Annual by Gina Hart.
The story first appeared in the newspaper from 10th June 1995 and features the delightful Nutwood countryside Nutwood Lake & River, Algy Pug, Bingo's lost raft and the Frog King, running for 28 episodes.
