Beginning in the Daily Express on 21st September was the first full coloured showing of
Rupert and the River Rogues.
This memorable exciting story was written by James Henderson and illustrated by John Harrold.
It originally ran for 31 episodes from Wednesday 27th September 1989 and featured Rupert's close pals Bill, Algy and Bingo, the scenic Nutwood River, The River Police and, of course, the River Rogues themselves.
