Starting in today's Daily Express (June 3, 2025) is a first full colour Newspaper Showing for the very exciting Alfred Bestall Story ''Rupert and the Bandits' Cave'' .
It was originally published as "Rupert's Climbing Adventure" when it first appeared in the Daily Express from May 23rd 1950 , but had it's title altered when it was beautifully colourised for the 1956 Annual, of which there is no Facsimile. The story features Bingo & Girl Guides Pauline, Janet and Beryl. Massive credit to The Daily Express so far this year, for selecting rarely seen Rupert Stories that have never appeared in colour since their first publications in their newspaper.
