Following Rupert and the Flavours, which concluded on 4th February 2025,
Rupert on Um Island commenced on 5th February 2025.
Starting in the Daily Express is the lovely story Rupert on Um Island illustrated by John Harrold and written by James Henderson (JH22).The story first appeared during September 1986 and this will be the first time that it will appear in colour in the newspaper, having not been reprinted since Episode 1 printed today, is showing a slightly different text to its original showing.
The story would later appear in full colour in the 1988 and 2006 Annuals .
