Rupert’s Birthday adventure conclude after just 18 double panel episodes of an original story that appeared in the daily Express in 1941 when episodes were only single panel due to space restrictions in the paper due to WW2. 
The plot revolves around Rupert being concerned that he has not grown even though he is a year older. But then he never did get taller over the years.
Rupert’s Christmas Tree story commenced on Wednesday 4th December with Rupert planning ahead for the big day. 
A nice seasonal story which should please all the newspaper readers as Christmas approaches.
