For anyone who visits Scotland this summer; A new exhibition featuring Oor Wullie, Judge Dredd, and Rupert Bear is coming to Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire (Scotland).
It includes a free display that goes behind the scenes of some of the most iconic creations and Scotland’s pivotal role. It presents works from both major publishers and independent artists, with original works, like the picture below a detail from a hand-colouring for a annual based on artwork by Alfred Bestall.
The Comics Stripped! display at the Lillie Art Gallery focuses on comic strips and creators, and will run until August 15.
