Starting in today's Daily Express (October 3, 2025) is the often repeated Alfred Bestall Story "Rupert and the House Mouse" from January 1961 (B197). It has been featured in two Annuals (1973 & 2021) , Pippin Comic , Rupert Weekly and reprinted in the newspaper in the Spring of 2012.
The lovely story involves a visit to Daisyham as Rastus Mouse seeks to buy a present for his Granny and Rupert a present for his father. In town they meet Kenneth the House Mouse in a big store and the adventure begins. Shown here are the various publications, with different text now printed from the original newspaper story.
